Although Pentax gear is sealed and I do keep my SLR in a hardig storm case for easy access. Nothing beats a fully waterproof compact when you're in a canoe in a torrential downpour. Photo courtesy of the excellent (raw shooting) Olympus Tough TG-4 that sits unprotected hanging from a gunnel in my boat!

Not sure why the Pentax forums preview looks WAAAAY too sharp. Neither Flickr nor the original on my PC looks that way. In fact, I didn't sharpen at all after the RAW output, preferring a slightly softer look. ---------- Post added 05-17-2016 at 07:26 PM ----------
I've found pretty girls can often be a short term panacea to everything in life. Unfortunately they don't always work out long term.

Funny, I hadn't shot or converted or processed (film) a black and white shot in a while...
Last night I developed 2 rolls of 645 Acros 100 at EI320, but still haven't scanned them.
This is my first digital black and white in ages. Pentax K-7, DA 21mm, f/5.6, ISO 200. |
