I received a box of equipment from a fellow toastmaster I'd met once before, last night. We'd talked about photography the first time we met and how I shot film. He said he had some stuff for me and oh my
35mm 1.8, 85mm 1.7, 90mm 2.8 macro, an SRT 102, a stereo camera(so excited for that) and filters/tripods/straps. Still pinching myself.

I have a dual system with Minolta and Pentax (with an occasional Olympus appearance). I've been trying to track down an XD with the new logo but it's near impossible. :(.

I just bought a non working OM-4T for broken prices. It only needed batteries and unlocking the shutter ring to work! Unfortunately the only lens I have is a 28mm 3.5.

My buddies XD-11 with my 58mm 1.2. My "K" 35mm f2 is off the the right and I think that's a "M"50mm f2. Taken with an MX and a Voigtlander 40mm on some expired Velvia 100. I really do like Velvia 100. {Only have one roll left ;( }Attachment 285873 |

It is a lot bigger than what I'm used too but the double exposure feature is so simple, I might just keep it. Also very nice cat!

You, my friend, are a genius. I scrubbed it and nothing happened but then I looked at the battery cap! CORROSION! I scraped it off with a screwdriver and now I have working XE-7. Thank you so much.

I am going to try that now. How vigorous should the rubbing be?

Thank you!
The 58mm is in perfect condition. I don't think it was ever used. The camera bag it came in still had the invoice for purchase in it. May 20, 1976 from 47th ST. Photo Inc.
I have an XD11 that I like better for size but the 58mm seems best balanced with the XE-7
I've used three sets of batteries to try and turn in on. Battery check failed each time. There's no corrosion in the terminal either. I have newer batteries arriving so it might be that the ones I have are low but they work with every other camera I have.

This came in the mail today! Attachment 281607 Attachment 281608 Attachment 281609.
The XE7 is dead but pristine. It still had the receipt for purchase in the bag!
The 35s works and looks great. Just the lens has quite a bit of fungus on it ;(.
T50 works *shrug*

Haha but yours is more sophisticated and cultured! I don't use my pentax 40 much because I have the Voigtlander 40 but whenever I feel the urge to sell it, I end up using it where it's perfect. (Or I'm just trying to justify keeping it. One of those)
