I've tried it again and really like it! While it doesn't control the camera, for quick downloads it's become my go-to-app on Android. I like the progress bar, the queued downloads, the simplicity.

It works now. Indeed force closing the app and opening it again did the trick.
I was able to download two images, they both downloaded at the same time, quite fast (the progress bar helps with the impression of speed). after that, it lost the connection with the camera, while Pentax's software was able to connect (it was not opened until after your app lost the connection).
Nice and fluid interface, if it had kept the connection it would have been flawless ;)

With an LG G5, the app loads fast, it displays images very quickly (quite responsive, congrats). However, if I select an image to download, it shows "waiting" forever, and does not transfer.

Sure, I for one was certainly not putting pressure, rather placing a placeholder so I can follow the thread.
For RAW, I agree. To transfer JPEGs, a phone or tablet is very useful. Say you're far from your home computer and want to share a picture or email it, the wifi transfer is super useful, but the low speed is certainly not a good thing.
