Wondering if anyone has ever calculated, how many raindrops there are in an average shower of say 5 minutes?

Outrageous! Forum is still not recognizing the challenge from photographic astrology - still not recognizing the problems with photographing creatures like Centaurs, Pisces, Capricorn and Leo.

An interesting point of view! The upcoming Pentax 1mm f/0.0 HHHD WR could actually do the job. Only two problems now:
1. Mental focusing must be cleared by removing greasy stuff like cheese and ham that may reside in the brain. Certain thoughtforms will otherwise not be received.
2. The wavelength radiating from these astrological creatures - are sensors in the cameras of today actually able to absorb spiritual wavelengts?

That describes the problems with photographing creatures like Centaurs, Pisces, Capricorns and Leos perfectly. They intersect, even permeate everything from their level, yet remain unfathomable - even for a lens with f/0.0.
Or maybe exactly not?

Well. Anyone interested in Photographic Astrology?
Or has that subject already passed by on this surrealistic scene?

The Pentax K-3 Cheese Problem:
I certainly does not want to discombobulate anybody - but for some inexplicable reason I've lately begun perceiving my new Pentax K-3 Silver Edition as being mainly made of Gouda cheese - and as I think Gouda is really doozy, I now have become silly and embarassing divided: should I eat it or not? This urge may occur ONLY due to the delicious cheesy colour of the Pentax K-3 Silver Edition - but as I said, I'm not quite sure why this peckish urge has occured in the last couple of weeks...
Now, I'm a little nervous about the various implications of this new aspect of my relation with this new camera - gastronomical, economical, digestibility, my image, world peace, etc. - also because I've begun to place it in the fridge when not in use. It resides between the ketchup-bottle and the french goat cheese for fast and convinient access - and of course also for macrosmatic reasons.
I'm also nervous that my cat should eat my goudy K-3, by the way - as my cat is a bit like this one: Youtu.be |

@THoog:
Think I've sunk completely into the black irrational hole of this thread, as the appearance of your very fine rational and explaining post seemed strange to my mind.
Time to get out then...if I can ;-)

All correct from a transcendental viewpoint. True initiation is right around the Mountain. Look out for flying porridge and subversive lumps of cheese. These will be the omens and let Them be accompained by much rejoicing; ye day has dawned - at long last.

Black Whey Cheese From Outer Space? I see. And it's commonly available?
(having witnessed Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg's suffering I'm not surprised it's toxic, though. But apparently customers loves exactly that)

An awesome movie sürprise indeed.
One question though:
The black stuff, that runs down the divine skull of Jean-Baptiste Emanuel Zorg - is that black cheese? Can any of the many cheese connaisseurs in this thread confirm this lucid assumption?
And if - which kind and is it available in cheese shops on this side of Saturns rings?
If so, with the present stage of development in space exploration, it might actually be possible to retrieve some of that powerfull black teletransportable cheese - AND with the right business model it may carry not only pure evil, but also a good profit. Two flies in one go.
(looks a bit runny, though. Maybe it matures like Brie Camembert?)

Sorry to hear about your friend, guess he went Gaffa-desperate. Hope he at the least got the bunny fur of the waffles.
No clue to how I got here. Not a sausage. Some evidence though on a kind of Calves'n'Hobbes technology, as my Pentax case no longer contains K-3, but instead is loaded with puffed ChocoPops and some Tiger whiskers caught in the zipper.
On the positive side I have no need for Gaffa anymore. And I guess the ChocoPops will keep me alive for some hours.
So if you don't hear from me again, you know why...

Just woke up (Canary Islands 7:40 AM) and the first thing I do is checking this thread. Quite disturbing, really. On one hand it seems overnight to have turned into the finest and cleanest cheese shop ever established in this district. On the other hand it's certainly utterly uncontaminated by cheese.
But let's be fair and realistic: Not much of a cheese shop, really - now, is it?
Pity. Cheese in bed would have been nice.
And turn that bloody Bouzuki off!

Squirrels, on the other hand, sleeps approx 18 hours a day. That's why they were no where to be seen in this thread - until now, where they after a long and healthy grandpa have woken up on page 142.
And when they're round and about photographing, they really do a lot of fine snapshots.
