my DA* 60-250mm is one of the best lenses I have ever shot with. Paired with a Coolpix A (28mm) I have a pretty "lightweight" system given the coverage of the two bodies. When I need more coverage I drop the Coolpix A and replace it with a D800 + 24-85mm VR. With two such bodies I now have 24mm-380mm covered at a constant f/4. For me, I consider this setup "lightweight"!!! :P
