Thank you very much! I woke up early to get some shots before there were many other people out on the beach. My later shots from that morning have more people in them.

Here is a tree that was washed up on the beach on Hilton Head Island. This is an HDR taken with a K-x and the DA-L 18-55 Kit lens. I posted a similar but different shot from the same morning over on the Kit Lens thread.

I've been looking over this thread and have really enjoyed the shots. Here is a contribution. This is the Survivor Tree at the WTC Memorial site with the new 1 WTC tower behind it.. This tree survived the attacks and was found in the rubble. It was moved and nursed back to health and is now planted at the memorial site.
