Yup, Dal Lake at the vegetable market. Early morning. Twas first foreigner in by an hour, about 5:00 AM or so. Around 7:00 AM I was tired and wanting to head back. It's a tourist trap in it's own way. The locals scratch the MRP tag off and sell you stuff 3x to 10x as buying in local market.
Around 7:30 AM, more tourists come paddling in. The best light is well over by then.
Thank you for commenting. Would love to see the older shots and how things have changed. Kashmir is beautiful and should be free.
