Well, not much luck with blood moon. Too cloudy. The best I could get. :( Could not compromise ISO much. |

The first shot I posted was from 9/9/2014. We have 5 hours time difference, so it was about 2-3 am in London of Sep.10.
Then I realized you posted your shot from Sep.10, and I changed mine as well taken on Sep10, but actually it was taken at 4-5 am of Sep 11 for London time. :)
Yep, the first shot was closer in time to your moon.
I just started moon photography, and yep, I closed the aperture too much. Thanks, the next time I will try your settings. I did use tripod and 2 sec mirror lock as well.

I like the idea to compare moons from different parts of globe.
Here is mine.
Location : near Miami, Florida.
Date: September 10, 2014, around 11pm -12 am
Canon SL1, Tele-Takumar 200mm f.5.6 preset
ISO100, 1/60, aperture don't remember exactly, around 16 or 22, spot metering, on tripod.
edited for the matching date with OP's picture.
It's interesting that my moon is not full any more- time difference. :)
