Cool! I've solarised photos in the darkroom, where it was usually done by turning on the light for a short moment while the photo paper was in the developer, and then rapidly moving it over to the stop bath. The results were hard to predict. How is it done in photoshop? Do you unplug the computer for a few seconds and then plug it in again?;)
