Identifying 8-element Tak 50mm 1.4 using a single crappy photo

Well everyone, the lens came in this afternoon, and I just got home to check it out...

Looks like I lucked out :D

IR mark to the right of the 4, and a protruding rear element confirms that this is indeed an 8-element version. Thanks everyone for chiming in with your guesses haha, just goes to show that gambles do pay off every once in a while. I'm mostly just excited to put it to some use!

Hey guys, I just won an old Super-Takumar 50mm 1.4 for ~$50 on the ol' fleabay, and am now wondering if it might be the older 8-element version? The listing had only one blurry, noisy photo:

Unfortunately, it is basically impossible to make out any detail on the aperture scale to see where that little tick mark falls, so all I have to go on is front view and serial number #1551447 (although there's always a possibility that the faceplate was switched out). Anyone think they can identify the version? I'm assuming 7-element as it is much more common, but an 8-element would be a nice surprise :) I'll re-update the thread once I receive the lens. Thanks!
