Thanks, I wasn't using the right method to check for dust specs. Got that one, and now have one on the other side, slightly smaller, which I need to blow off or use a cleaner to get rid of it. Too much lens changing going on in the field methinks. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the input on resizing, just learning Lightroom. I just checked my sensor for dust a few days ago, and can't see the spot you are mentioning on the right, can you be a bit more specific. Thanks.

Taken with my new 18-55 WR, a little grainy but this was a hand-held shot in dismal lighting so had to bump up the ISO to 400. Small amount of PP to bring out shadows and lighten the sky, but nevertheless was pleased with my first outing with the kit lens.
