I watched two 24mm Sigma Super-Wide II AF's sell on evilbay over the past few days; both went for under $140. Seems like a good lens from what I've read (not rugged at all, but good IQ, small etc etc). What about something like the Sigma 17-35mm f2.8-4 EX Aspherical? The couple reviews of this lens in the PF User Reviews are positive and the one on evilbay currently isn't too costly. Seems like a nice lens that comes in at 400 grams. Probably some other older lenses like that out there if you want a zoom and some width. Maybe mix with a 50 1.7 or the DA* 55, etc?
