Some shots of friends racing at a track I used to work at. I usually shot tmax 400 or delta 400 and pushed them one or two stops as needed.

The blocks were waiting to be melted down and used to cast fire hydrants, valves etc. They were shot at Terminal City Ironworks in Vancouver in the mid 90s. They closed down a few years ago. Couldn't compete with offshore products. The round valve handles were wooden dies for making moulds (they used a sand casting process) and the guy in the bottom shot was getting ready to pour hot iron. The crane shot was made from the paper neg on the right. I love the grain in tmax 3200. Nothing like it in the digital world.
