The issue is that on this lens there is no end. The ring can turn until you decide to stop. And unfortunately I didn't have the idea to focus on a very bright star. This kind of error will make me better for the next time. And for sure what I will to is to adjust my focus point before dark comes

Thatīs what I tried to do without success. I used the 18 -135 lens for this photo and it's impossible to find infinity point in manual. There is a ring for manual use but there is no stop point ( end or beginning of focus). The next time I will take another lens. I've got a sigma 8 16 and I think that this lens is better for this kind of work.

Another experience with my K3 and O GPS 1. Made 2 nights ago in french Basque country. The weather and moon condition are perfect to enjoy the show of the milky way.
