It is really good to see that Pentax in a hands of the capable photographer can take such good shots. Usually, at airshows, I am the only one with Pentax for some reason some belief you cant take good photos with Pentax yet you prove them wrong
That is why I must come, especially because I am afraid they will retire them some day. I still remember MiG-23 which was one of the first planes I have seen in flight and I loved it. Sadly now it is literally extinct.
From what I see on the AFW web page there are going to be two F/A-18 which is one (i.e two) more reason for me to come. For some unknown reason, Hornet appears in Poland extremely rarely.
Definitely do that, I am already looking for tickets and checking tourist attractions (never have been in Greece before).
Sad to hear it is so bad, I hope your guys will not ever have to make use of their training
One more question can I buy a ticket only by the internet or can I buy them on the day of the airshow too?

Wow, those photos are pure gold. Seriously, especially the third one is awesome. If you have more of them do not hesitate to share them I believe everyone here would like to see them.
Yes, there is something about F-4. It is one of those planes that are "ugly" but yet beautiful and you simply cannot not to like them :).
F-4E-AUP performing airport attack beggars my imagination, I am seriously considering coming to Greece in September now.
It is to be expected taking into account, not too friendly neighbor. But yet I did not now that it is so strict in Greece. I guess it is much easier in Poland as long as you are behind the fence you are usually OK. In Poland, you can also easily watch planes at air shows from behind the fence while planes fly directly over your head can you do that in Greece?

Sadly no, I was there only for two days one of them at Poznan Air Show and did not have an opportunity to take photos of Greek Tiger :( If we are on the subject of Greek planes I would like to ask you a question about Greek F-4 Phantom. Is it possible to saw them in flight anywhere in Greece? I could trick my wife to go with me to Greece to holiday and go to see F-4 :)

Yes, we have many planes! The main advantage of living in Europe is the fact that we have many countries and each country has a bit different air force with different types of aircraft. It is also common to have few displays of the same type of aircraft the same day like a year ago at NATO days when we had three different demos of Typhoon. Sadly, of course, we rarely have guests from across the ocean.

Museum is very nice and worth seeing, sadly open only 4 hours a day (I was late and had only 2 hours).
Next to the museum is an airfield from witch constantly fly some light planes. Additionally while in the museum I have noticed just above me an Airbus Beluga :)
KC-97, yes that is the one! By the tail I was expecting it to be some derivative of US bombers, one of those rare ugly planes that are just pretty :)...
PS. there are no really ugly planes :)

Quite big plane, thus I had some problems with framing :)

Yes it came out funny :)
I usually make mistakes so, I use spell check in word processors and not always pay attention to how it was “corrected” :) You can use it as an anecdote in your classes to not trust automatic spell check. :)

That is probably true, I see that DA 150-450 is capable of taking great photos. Pentax value is the main reason why I bough my first (and all next) Pentax DSLR.
I guess that at least 50% of good photo is like in real estate location :) and photographer.
I have two interesting photos ( I hope ). Almost a year ago somewhere around Christmas I was asked by my girlfriend to drive her to Warsaw city center. I agreed under the condition that in a way back we will get to an airport to take some photos. While driving I saw Mi-8 with load flying toward skyscraper (around 200m height) at a trafic lights I took my camera and tried to take a photo but trees were in the way,
fortunately there were another red light ( I never was happy about red light before:) )
I was so happy I saw it I speared my girlfriend a trip to the airport...

I am happy with my budget Tokina but looking at your photos I can really see the difference.
