In auto and in most of the scn modes colors are preset to "bright" which leads to candy colors. Meanwhile I mostly shoot in user mode. I set the colors to "natural" in both user modes.
Hereīs two more examples, both taken in scn mode "sports" (I guess itīs called "sports" since my camera settings are in German). Both taken in Boston last summer Arizona at Red Sox in Fenway. I was not too familiar with the camera back then so I chose that mode. Way too much red imo, no pp editing...

Taken with kit lenses, either DAL 55-300 or DAL 18-55
First one was still taken in automatic mode, hence the colors...:hmm:
Second one taken in Av as RAW, with a little pp in Silkypics, the software that came with the camera.
Third one, the inevitable moon, cropped and edited.
