That is a beautiful image, Dave. It is impressing how f2 works.

I was exploring my new Classic Carl Zeiss 100mm, f/2 lens. I was hunting for it over two years and recently won one on e-bay, ZF version. Fenwoodian (Dave) excellently adapted it for Pentax. I am very thankful to you, Dave! It is a great joy to use this lens. Below are some examples shot habdheld on k-3 at f2. Almost no post-processing, some cropping only. I am not a pro but critique is welcome.

In the mobile version I do not see any BB code. I just copied link and the result is the same. Sorry.

Dear All, Happy New Year!

The last summer I bought from Dave (Fenwoodian) Calr Zeiss Macro-Planar 50 mm and I enjoy it very much. If someone is untested you can see the photos on my Flickr. All those indicated with 50 mm without indication of [f] is a Carl Zeiss Macro-Planar 50. For example:

All are taken with K-3. I am not a professional photographer and I will appreciate any opinion.

Thank you.
Joseph.

Tas, I appreciate Zeiss lenses for their 3-D rendering. Here are some examples.
Zeiss 85 mm at f1.4 and Zeiss 35 mm at f2 (two photos). Better color rendering of the same and other examples can be found on a flickr site Joseph Dubrovsky | Flickr

April 29 I contacted Carl Zeiss on their site. Bertram Hönlinger wrote me the following:

"Because of the very low request, we had to discontinue ZK type lenses in 2011. We do not plan to offer K-mount lenses anymore within the next future".

I wonder whether indeed we have so low request for ZK?
