That cloud is doing a lot for you,
Besides looking neat, would have been really hard to balance the moon light without it,

I totally mis-read Google maps,
You're more north of Missoula, for some reason I read Spokane,
I forget how far west the Rockies come as you get further north,

Hope being on the east side of the Cascades gives you better skies,
Over here on the Salish Sea, we have a "River of Rain" forecast for the weekend and into next week,
Storms stacked up across the Pacific, rolling in until Christmas Day at least.

We tried to get to get it from Bainbridge last night, Cloud deck was too thick, Gave up, Was trying to get it with Mt. Rainier. would have been too high by the time it cleared the clouds
Did you see Mars? It was supposed to be near the moon, and bright!

I really wanted to get it closer to the horizon, but the twilight and haze washed it out until it was well up in the sky,
still, worth the effort
