Thanks JCSullivan. This group tries to keep it fairly authentic but I did clone out one wristwatch. As for your comment on the matting, you are right about the size not being optimal. All of these images were set up to print out at 14 X 11 with the matting being part of the print. If I get 50 prints done at a time they cost $1.99 each from Adorama. That size frame costs me $5.00 so the total is only $7.00. I can do the same thing with a 16 X 20 print for a cost of $14.20 including frame. For display I can cover the printed mat with a proper one and upgrade the frame but still have a low end "Ready to hang" item for the art shows I'm planning on working this next summer.

The style isn't for everyone but it does set me apart from the rest of the exhibitors. It might be a fun weekend hobby and give me a chance to meet some interesting people. Any thoughts any of you have on this plan would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ken

Thanks Gary. I tried to correct that last photo as much as I could. A bad job of composing in the first place. The only card I handed out was to a 57 year old widow from Blue Hill. Selling her photos wasn't on my mind at the time.

Lenards Mill in Bradley Maine is a community project dedicated to preserving the history of Maine's logging industry. They hold a "Living history" event once a year. Everybody dresses up in civil war era garb and they camp out for two days putting on demonstrations of everything from old fashioned blacksmithing to cooking. Here is one image I took. There are 11 more you can see at Living history at Lenards Mill Photo Gallery by Ken Regier at pbase.com

Hope you like them and of course any comments you can make on how I could make these better with PP I'd love to hear them.

Thanks,
Ken
