Sports photography - single images

Pentax k-50 and Sigma 70 F/2.8 macro. Photos taken in manual mode at F/2.8 1/200 sec. ISO-4000 manual white balance.I think someone asked if the Sigma was fast enough at focusing for sports, i have taken over a thousand volleyball photos with the Sigma with no problem as long as i'm not to close. When the players are very close to me i have trouble surely due to the narrow depth of field which i simply try to avoid.
