Here are 2 music videos I shot & edited for a great up and coming band in LA. called Badwater. "Paranoia" and "Unsound" were both shot with the Pentax Kx modified to IR with a Super Takumar 35/2.3, and a Panasonic Gh2 with the Voightlander 25/.95. The few wide angle shots were with the Panasonic 14/2.5

Thanks Eddie! Gh2 with the Voigtlander 25/.95. I cut the film in Premiere, and since AE couldn't quite get the right colors for the IR I exported one by one all the frames. Created 4 different actions in Photoshop and then re-imported the stills into the timeline.

Got myself a pristine condition 35/2.3 so on my spotmatic it's a 35, my Kx it's a 53, and on my Panasonic Gh2 it's a 70. What a lens! Beautiful bokeh. Here's one from the Pani

Okay I'm back in the game. I've been using my Super-Takumar 50/1.4 (white dot) on my modified IR Kx quite often, but it's not the best for street shooting on a cropped sensor. So I looked for a 35 Tak. Found one on craigslist. The 35/2.3 came today. It's in TOP condition. Hardly used and sharper than expected @2.3. So now I just can't leave the Spotmatic in the closet anymore. Just in time for my 3 day excursion to some cemeteries in a few ghost towns around Mojave. Conditions are perfect for night photography. I'll have the Spotmatic with Efke 25 & the 35/2.3 & 50/1.4, Kx modified IR with a Sigma 8-16, and Panasonic GH2 with the 14/2.5. The Taks will be used on all and heavily! Photos to follow by Saturday. Film scans...well damnit, I have to buy another scanner!

I get an 11 minute clock on the video. Not sure if that's par or what. Maybe Pentax has a timer no matter how hot it gets. Wish I could turn that off. With the heat transfer system I don't need it. I've got a fully produced concert to shoot with both cameras(k7 normal) in June. guess I better get used to using them.....(video, that is)

Took my Kx with a CLR filter over the sensor and slapped the Takumar 50 1.4 (still yellowed) with a 87c filter on the lens.
