I send my folders to Jurgen Kreckel (certo6) and just say damn the expense & opportunity cost in film. Unless you're very handy tinkering with cameras, entrust it to an expert. That's my advice for what it's worth. ---------- Post added 07-12-14 at 01:16 PM ----------
Stop making me want more cameras!

This is camera erotica at its best. You've got a sweet collection, and your photos are gorgeous. I especially like the black on black, which is something I do in various forms, though not nearly this well.

Fantastic work with the Isolette! Never underestimate the power of a modest triplet, I say. By all accounts Isolettes have bellows as leaky as sieves, but yours looks to be fine.

Yes, it's a Solida III. It belonged to my wife's late father, and my mother-in-law surprised me with it on one of her visits from England. It took me a while to come to terms with the uncoupled rangefinder, but the lens is fantastic and, yes, very fast for a folder. I carry all my folders everywhere I go along with a Minolta Autometer III. ---------- Post added 07-08-14 at 11:09 AM ----------
The Isolette is one camera I would love to have, but, like a Super Ikonta, will just have to find its way to me someday. Two of my folders were given to me, so it's hardly unlikely. What's the lens on your Isolette?

Lovely Nettar. I have a Nettar 515 (6x4.5) with the same lens, which performs wonderfully. You got a real bargain, and if you're not already addicted to folding cameras, I expect you will be soon.
