Nice work with the fast 85s. As nice as these clearly are, I think one of these would be too specialized for me. Now if someone were to give me one I'm sure I could find something to do with it!

That last close-up of the rusty(/) painted(??) surface is really neat! Nice arrangement of elements and colour. Vehicle, building, or neither?

I've never seen that variation on focus ring rubber before, but then I've never had a Color-Ultron anything cross my path before, either. ;)

I love the grittiness of this shot. I can feel that texture on the hubcap! Very moody, too. Well done!

Light is everything. I like the subtle colour pallette, which gives an unexpectedly gentle, dreamlike quality to an urban landscape. Nicely done!

Spot the moon.

In the second and third shot, at full size, lunar maria and a few brighter craters can be seen.

Pentax 35mm f2.8 on KP.

We'll start in the kitchen (with a tip of the skillet to pepperberry farm), though I'm offering utensils rather than tastiness:

...and then we'll head outside:

I think it can depend on the subject and how you shoot. Sounds obvious, I know. I do a lot of macro shooting at higher than 1:1 magnification, so when I shoot with my 1:1 lenses (Sigma 50mm and Sigma 70mm- both excellent) things seem a lot farther away. With those lenses, I have to find bigger subjects that won't get lost at the greater distances I have to work at. It's adifferent way of seeing, a different search image when it comes to subject matter. Same thing again with any of my 1:2 lenses (S-M-C Takumar 50mm f4, S-M-C Takumar 100mm f4, SMC Pentax 50mm f4 and Tamron Adaptal 52BB 90mm f2.5) which pushes my macro subjects farther away still.

You've got three different lenses that all do different things as well as the same things in different ways. Your own tools have their own talents. The A 502.8 has the A contacts and a faster maximum aperture, both of which aid ease of use. The preset Super Tak 50 does 1:1, which is a nice trick. See what your K has up its sleeve; it might have a hidden talent or unexpected capability. Try testing it against the other two. There may be parts of its aperture range that produce better/different results for your own needs.

You can throw extension tubes or teleconverters into the mix, too. Here's what I got when I stuck the K50/4 macro onto a Vivitar 2X Macro Focusing Teleconverter.

Yes. You've got some fine ones right there, esp. the third one.
