RE: Bulb - this was on the Pentax Japan site: Quote: Bulb timer function
A handy tool in bulb shooting
The bulb timer function comes in handy when photographing celestial bodies or fireworks. The PENTAX K-70 allows you to set an exposure time of 10 seconds to five minutes in 10-second steps, or five to 20 minutes with one-minute steps. Isn't there some limitation to the KS-2 vs. K-50 in interval mode? I don't recall it now.

Not subtle but 14 bit, pixel shift, a new bulb mode, and high ISO claims seem pretty interesting. Also image transmitter software compatibility at least similar to KS-2 feature set. ---------- Post added 06-09-16 at 03:53 PM ---------- Very cold weather performance -10C ---------- Post added 06-09-16 at 03:56 PM ---------- Diffraction compensation and fine and extra sharpness options for jpgs. ---------- Post added 06-09-16 at 03:56 PM ---------- RED Mode low light LCD mode for night vision preservation. ---------- Post added 06-09-16 at 03:58 PM ---------- 6 frames per second... ---------- Post added 06-09-16 at 03:59 PM ---------- Skin tone correction - something the K-3 struggles with sometimes. ---------- Post added 06-09-16 at 04:00 PM ---------- Return of Interval composite to the camera (K-50 had it, KS-2 didn't I think if I understand this correctly - I could be confused). ---------- Post added 06-09-16 at 04:00 PM ---------- K-3 style multiple auto white balance (zones of white balance mixed in a single frame) ---------- Post added 06-09-16 at 04:03 PM ---------- Buttons - the 4 way and the MENU/INFO/PLAY button are more rectangular and seem likely to be easier to press.
