I bought a Vivitar 400mm F5.6 lens on eBay and tried it out on the moon seeing as it was a bright moon and a clear night. The moon shots are straight from the camera. The picture of the camera set-up was courtesy of Mrs 35millimetre using my Ricoh CX2. Here are the results;

Thanks. I used the same ring binder reinforcement hoop things on each lens. To be fair I suspect there may be an element of camera shake using that 50mm lens hand held at 1/100th, and I think there will be less depth of field with the 50mm too.

The last of my collection of Pentax 110 lenses is the 24mm F2.8. As with the others, this was taken hand held at 1/100th second. The lens was stopped down using the 'ring binder reinforcement' method and mounted to a cheap eBay PTX 110 - P/Q adapter. The picture is straight out of the camera but resized.

Moving on from the 18mm lens I tried the 50mm lens. This was also taken hand held at 1/100th second (a bit ambitious given the 280mm 35mm equivalent!). The lens was stopped down using the 'ring binder reinforcement' method and mounted to a cheap eBay PTX 110 - P/Q adapter. The picture is straight out of the camera but resized.

I've only just got the adapter for my Pentax 110 lenses today and had a quick play this afternoon. First up, the 18mm F2.8. This was taken hand held at 1/100th second. The lens was stopped down using the 'ring binder reinforcement' method and mounted to a cheap eBay PTX 110 - P/Q adapter. The picture is straight out of the camera but resized.
