Have owned & used in this order:
MX
MZ-30
K100D
K10D
LX.
Kept:
MX
LX.
Like the MX's size, shutter noise, easier to read shutter speed in VF. Also like how all speeds are mechanical.
Don't like the hard-to-turn shutter speed dial, the meter seems unresponsive at slower shutter speeds in dark venues (always reads underexposed even in the 1/8th and below range), and the focussing screen is darker and grittier than LX.
Prefer the LX's brighter focusing screen, easier turning shutter wheel, more comprehensive meter display and more sensitive meter. Also dig the auto mode and EV comp for longer exposures. And the handling with accessory grip.
Don't like the EV comp lock, and it can be difficult to see the blue shutter speed flag in the viewfinder. Metallic 'ping' after tripping shutter not so svelte.
Also don't like the sticky mirror that my first CLA didn't take care of, but it's in Eric's hands now.
