Incoming bee (composition of 6 pictures). The 300 makes me feel a lot safer, when the subject in question is swarming with them buzzers.
Next day I took my newly arrived DA* 300mm for a quick walk in the zoo. Much bigger than what I expected, but what a beaut. I'm much looking forward to what it can do in the wild, too bad all we have around town seems to be 99% pigeons and crows. I guess I'll need to explore some more. :)
Sadly the weather turned from bad to worse... baboons didn't like it much either.
But it was rather funny how all other DSLRs ran for safety when the first drops came down. And somewhat ridiculous, just how many P&S used their flash at distances of 20m or more. Yes, the camera tells you it's so dark you should use a flash. No, it still won't help! Poor, annoyed critters.
