x-posted from sports photography. pre game, sideline, half time and post game are a great time to incorporate some UW into the set. It was raining for 3 of the 4 quarters in this game and it was my first real experience using AW/WR in the extremes. Usually I put my gear away, but I finally worked up the guts to try it. The gear performed flawlessly and is still working fine. |

Something a little different. X-posted from the Sports Photography thread. In the past I've mostly concentrated on tele shots at the outdoor sports field venues. I'm looking forward to incorporating the wide shots this season. |

First one is some of the natural caves used as dwellings. These dotted the side of the cliff for quite some ways.
Second one is just some tourist action as we approached southern Colorado as we headed to the Grand Canyon by way of the four corners.
Both using the K-1. |

DFA 15-30 on K-1
Last one from Carlsbad and one from Bandelier National Monument. There are ruins of the Ancestral Puebloans are at Badelier and you can see the ruins just to the right of the rock formation in the second pic. The ruins make a circular pattern. In addition to this they were cliff dwellers and a lot of natural caves they resided in. I'll post one of those later. If you have a chance to go to Bandelier it is very scenic and intersting. Bandelier is just west of Santa Fe New Mexico. |

Carlsbad Caverns last week with the 15-30 and K-1. The 15-30 is my first experiences with UWA. This definitely gives the perspective of the size...I'm really loving this lens.
