People buy the Rokinon/Samyang 14/f2.8 because is a good performer, but most importantly cheap. There's almost no penalty in getting one. I'd like to meet the guy who sold his Da 15 for one though....but I'm not holding my breath on seeing volunteers anytime soon.

Sure, but then I could probably count on one hand the people who "upgraded" their DA 15 ltd with the Da 14/f2.8...

The reason few muster the courage to wish for a new 200mm f?? macro is due to the premium pricing that will be attached to it. In my household my bookkeeper makes all lens buying decisions, and the 200mm macro is in the "look but don't touch" category...

Its better to say I don't know then misguide people.
Asahi man has said that 2-3 completely new dfa primes (not redesigns) will make their appearance in 2016, a newly updated map will include such primes latter this year

Adam has been spending too much time with the 35/f1.4 Art and has forgotten how special the 31 Ltd is.
Going the way of Sigma with 24/F1.4, 35/f1.4 it's an immature desire, similar to wanting a Lamborghini instead of a Nissan GTR because it looks awesome. On the new FF sensor with the low light AF capabilities you WONT need anything faster than f2.8. Keep it sharp, aw, silent, fast focusing and above all Small....
