Great photo. I like shots where it takes me a moment to figure out what I'm looking at. EDIT: I would crop the pylon and doors. :-)
B&H has really weird hours.

That's a good move, get it fixed under warranty. Even if the K-7 could accomodate the AF adjustment, you never know what camera you may use in the future. I had to send my bad copy back because I have a K20D and K-x, and the K-x can't compensate.

My first copy back-focussed on my cameras (K20D, K-x). I exchanged it and the new copy is dead on.

Hi Tim. What bag is that? What can it carry? I like that it's not very thick.

Yeah, I bought one B&W 49mm CPL that fits all five of my prime lenses. But I'm wondering now if I should have gotten a 52mm and 49-52mm adapter instead.

Thanks Jay. The 16-45 won't be winning any prizes for bokeh either. :(
I really like these.

It would be interesting to see a bokeh comparison with the 16-45. Don't feel you have to, I'm just thinking it would be interesting to have a comparator, because frankly that bokeh is pretty awful.

And yet his 16-45mm is not as sharp as mine.

Thanks a bunch for the comparison. The old zoom holds up pretty well and the 15mm does exactly what it's supposed to as a Limited prime. Of course the 16-45 is strongest in the middle of its range; 16mm and 100% crop is a tough test.

Thanks Andrew. The dynamic range was a bit much. I wish I'd brought a polarizer, but it wasn't a photography trip. I was lucky to find time to stop. And of course I didn't have a DA 15mm Ltd, just my big ole superzoom.
The shoreline is stunning at any time of year, but my favourite is early fall (lots of red leaves, as opposed to further north where it's all yellow and green).
I really enjoyed looking at the nature shots on your site.

I prefer the f8 version. The building definitely adds to the interest for me. The bokeh's a bit wiry in the f4 version too.
You said you were intending to do a 15mm vs 16-45 shootout. Have you done one that I missed, or is it coming or is it dead? I'm not pushing, just asking. :o
PS I love the church set.
