You will be blown away by the k5ii in every possible way. I should know. Coming from a k10d to a k3 it was an undescribable jump. With k3 I Very regularly crank upto ISO 3200 in decent light. In low light I have gone ISO 10,000 sometimes for higher shutter speed. Shots are acceptable. K5II should be no different. K10D is so dinosaur age tool now that ISO 1600 on k10D = ISO 10,000 on k5 and newer bodies.
And we are not even talking abou AF improvements!! If you are going APSC at the moment there is simply no competitor for a K3 and only a handful competitors for k5ii!
