A nice variety of entries from you all there,

noelcmn:
I like that you have emphasised the fog with your attempt, that and keeping the colours soft and muted certainly helps reinforce the mood of the image. My only gripe would be losing the rear line of poles as I feel they are an important compositional aspect of the image.

tp1665:
I like the overall contrast of the scene keeping all the elements without losing the mist, for my tastes the sepia toning is a bit strong however.

charisteas:
Less is definitely more in this case, black and white is the obvious choice in my mind and I love the high contrast look you have gone for with your attempt.

photocles:
Keeping it high contrast and in your face but in colour this time, an interesting take and I particularly like the red/brown strip you have coaxed out of it.

tmlawes:
Back to black and white, you have handled the overall scene very well by keeping it slightly dark and moody and done a great job removing the pole and wires up front, I do like your addition of the Eagle too. Nice job.

tuggie76:
In a similar vein as tmlawes image above you have gone a bit further than basic adjustments, I appreciate the effort of you both for that. Must admit I have not seen any elephants roaming around up here but they do sit nicely in the mist, I dont know if the source image was misty or you have tried to blend them in but it works well. This one brought a smile to my face.

This week got a bit hectic for me so I never got round to doing my own version but it would of been along the lines of charisteas's image, so that is the obvious choice for me to award first place to.

Welcome to Post Processing Challenge #296!
I will let this run for a week so you have until the 21st May to submit your entries.

For my image I wanted to include some foggy atmosphere so I went back to January to look for one I hadn't shared before, I came across this rather minimal image and thought it would be good to see how different people approach it. This isn't one I have processed myself yet so I will be doing my version as well to share at the end.
No rules do whatever you want as many times as you want.
