It's an horizontal stitch of three shots taken in portrait orientation with the DA21. The merging is done with Microsoft ICE (free software) . Right now i don't remember the projection i used...but i am sure i had to do a lot of trial and error... :p

I've seen some really nice pictures in this thread ! I made one of my first attempts during my last trip, this was done with DA 35mm Ltd and stitched with Microsoft ICE. I'm still learning but i think the software did a great job. I can't find any evident stitching mark....

Unfortunately i didn't plan the shot accurately enough and i chopped off some pointy rooftops...

You can download the full ~79 Mpix image.

I took six shots with large overlap to be safe (probably overkill) with identical exposure settings, then processed the raw files using exactly the same settings, and fed the Jpegs to ICE, i think i am not doing anything blatantly wrong :p
