Just been back from a short trip to Krakow, Poland. Used my newly bought DA 18-135 WR. Found it really versatile, sharpness is more than decent even at the widest focal length. (Even if it needs to be stopped down at least a bit to perform decently, wide open at 18mm sometimes shows very soft corners, i' d say unacceptably soft, i'm even thinking there's something wrong with my copy, like decentering or something, but strangely extreme softness only appears in some situations wide open...who knows...)
A few fun shots at different focal lengths... |

DA 16-45
It's damn difficult to get decent pictures in aquariums, this is one of the very few that turned out decent... |

Took out my 16-45 with a Hoya HRT circular polarizer. Surely it helps water look nice :) |

Took the DA 16-45 for a day out, i think it did well for being wide open and in fairly low light |

Some test shots taken with the DA 16-45 the day i purchased it. Got it used for a nice price, overall i like it, even if i found out the auto focus to be very unreliable with my k200D ( which has no issues with other lenses ) especially when focusing at wide apertures and close to 16mm to relatively near ( not to infinity ) subjects. Some test shots i took at 16mm seemed extremely soft but if focus is adjusted either manually or by zooming in, locking then zooming back, they look fine. |
