Taken on a trip along the Australian east coast in Daintree, Queensland, the oldest rainforest on the planet. Close to the lodge where we were staying there was a pristine creek with a deep basin that my father and I went swimming in, under the dense canopy and surrounded by lush vegetation, with fish nibbling at our feet.
The image shows the outflow of the natural pool, with the water flowing over fallen leaves and a cassowary plum (Cerbera floribunda).
