The only time I've experienced the runaway shutter was from very depleted batteries (as in end of life, not just end of charge).

BTW "That guy" is me :). I said "it looks like" that's what they're going to do and showed exactly what the patent filing showed which was 60 AF points.
Thanks for watching my video either way. We all have our opinions. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe I'm not. Time will tell.

Good point. Runaway shutter confirms this, it runs away at what? 20 FPS? Seemed to be that fast anyway lol.

According to yet another newer patent filing.... Some of what you said may actually happen, especially if you combine both the switchable AF and Hybrid Viewfinder.
I really hope this is why they've been so secretive...
