I live in a state that grows lots of popcorn and raised Orville Redenbacher.
We eat lots of popcorn.

I have a food allergy that seems to be connected to cheese somehow. Salt causes my blood pressure to creep up, but the allergy results to an ambulance ride because of plummeting blood pressure - I prefer salt.

5 grams of gold is valuable, but not dangerous unless a man with a gun wants to take it from you.

Purchasing sirloin certainly makes purchasing a pricey camera more difficult.

The D850 also has a grip, so you'd have to include it in the comparison if you include the Pentax grip.

But this is all kind of pointless - no one would have thought about this if they just picked up the camera.

If you look at DxOMark scores, the K-1 tests nearly as well as the D850 at a fraction the cost!!

It is totally irrelevant - and we wouldn't be talking about it if reviewers hadn't noticed and used it as a negative.

I'm not sure anyone would have noticed the difference if someone hadn't put it in a nice table with a "minus Pentax" note

Right, but a reviewer, especially a biased reviewer, can put that in a table and has one more row for Nikon {or against Pentax}. He doesn't have to really feel it - it just needs to tabulate it.

My Canon lenses were also much lighter than my K-mount lenses. Several of them had plastic mounts, and I'm quite sure that all of them used more "space-age plastics" than Pentax does. The mostly-solid metal construction that Pentax uses is clearly what Pentax users want. Me - I don't care - I never had a Canon lens fail, even the kit lens with a plastic mount that I used for eleven years - but I'm willing to use what everyone else seems to want.

I would love one the size of my Super Program - but I don't expect that, not with the depth added by the IBIS and LCD.

For one thing, the sensor would weigh more because of IBIS.

A certain amount of a DSLR is air because of the light path from mirror to prism box, so physical size doesn't mean much.
