this is our first month of "cutting the cable" - we've been satellite-subscribers for about 15 years.... and just could not justify the $1100+ per year for the service, especially when we watch only a handful of channels... combined with atrocious customer service and condescending responses to our questions about the service, we had enough...
it was an adjustment that took about two weeks, but we don't miss it - in fact, the house is quiet after all these years...
