Thanks Deimos (and Chaos Realm). I was fortunate to get a MIJ new not long after I got the K20d.

Yes it is. It is an alternative word to emblematize which means "to symbolize."

Nice Cityscape, Calex. Its a good thing you didn't use the FA 77mm ltd for that! :p There are people that think the FA 77mm is only good for portraits. I guess that's a city portrait!

Axl, That is absolutely brilliant in a tongue-and-cheek sort of way! However, this is the best coffee cup image in this thread. |

Lets see what you can do other than spout of opinions. I wet cat image with a FA ltd would be ideal. This is the FA ltd thread to so learn to read. You can practice by going back to Post #1 in this thread and work your way through the thread rather than merely being a Post Troll.

It was a moving cat in a coastal rain storm at night. It was an action shot hoss, not a portrait. However, I don't put much stock in the opinion of Trolls.

She was in a rocking chair at a local fish restaurant. She was friendly but didn't much like the flash from the lightening or fill. She was seeking shelter from the coastal rain storm just after dark. This was a 1 chance opportunity because she was quasi wild. This is the also the wettest conditions I've ever used any of my ltd lenses in before. FA 77mm ltd |

I got the 77 for portraits and as a short tele. I use it for a certain type of street photography as well. If I get the 43, it will be to replace my FA 50mm f1.4 and would use it to do the same things I use the 50 for. I'd do that since I have an A 50mm f1.2.

Watch out for the Brute Squad. They may beat you with feather pillows. Especially after posting how well the 77 does as a short tele!
