I'm glad to see someone that appreciates this lens. Most discussions on fast fifties result in this lens being howled down in favor of other af lenses.

Here's an attempt with the DA* 300mm trying to capture a tufted titmouse which are relatively tiny birds . . . the second is a pine warbler . . .
