Interesting comment about the AF, especially when comparing the K-70's AF to an "older & slower" Panasonic body with DFD contrast AF. Hopefully Ricoh gives the upcoming Pentax bodies a major AF overhaul & gives us some more faster focusing lenses too. :cool:
The K-70 losing its settings sounds like a manufacturing issue. This is not a common thing. Could be that the internal capacitor is either loose or faulty. That or something similar. You might want to try exchanging it for another one.
