I'm all about open source software, but agree it can be overwhelming if it's not used very often - also seems to be a lack of support documentation for a lot of those applications

I'm a photographer.
I'm a hobbyist.
I am not a videographer.
I am certainly NOT a professional!
Have been flying my drone more lately and need some advice on how to process these massive 4K cinematics!
I know Lightroom CC will categorize and organize these files, but where should I edit?
I have the photographer subscription for Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC...
Is Photoshop decent for video? Or not at all?
I'd rather not pay for another monthly subscription... I have the entire adobe suite at work, so maybe I can explore options there and see what I like before committing at home.
I'll be doing some data capture for work too, but that's going to be GIS application and will likely need a dedicated software from ESRI, Pix4D, etc.
