Yes, thats correct...It's where the gaps are for the mount..plenty of FF glass.
Since 2018 theres been 17 FF zooms and 17 FF primes on the market.
On crop its 4 zooms, so with Tamron and Sigma coming to support the mount, there should be something for just about everyone.Time will tell which lenses Canon will approve?

Its approaching 6 months since it went on sale and according to the MapCamera(a leading retailer in Japan) its the 2nd most popular body over their fiscal year that runs4//1/23 to 3/31/24.
Only the Z8 has outsold it in that period BUT the Z8 had a bit of a head start.

Trusted sources to FujiRumours have confirmed...
A surprise is the 40mp sensor plus IBIS....it truly is a mini XT5, probably no WR...The lens apparently had no stabilisation which means IBIS in all future X bodies(E series and Pro series).

There are rumours that numbers will jump from Xt30 to Xt50,completely by passing the 40, but only rumours at this stage.Leaks will come thick and fast now the date of the Summit is announced. We usually know everything at least a week in advance. ---------- Post added 04-19-24 at 01:28 PM ----------
The T1 is on the list that Fuji doesn't repair anymore.
Others are E1..E2...M1...Pro 1,all 16mp Sensored and T20(24mp)...I still own 5 of the non repairable(all 16mp),so hope they outlast me.

There are older Fuji lenses that perform quite well, XC.15-45 is excellent 15-30 range.
The 2nd gen XC.16-50mm is fine and the 50-230(2) punches above its weight.
Then theres a range of primes that are all quite good, used they are fair prices if you are happy to wait for the bargains.

Yes Lee, there's some thinking along those lines but its not Fujis, there is a FF crop mode on all 6 GFX bodies. So those cameras can shoot both sizes.Imo, they are aiming at the gap the A73 left.
Yes, lots of Nikon shooters will and not long to wait as the leaks(or lies) are surfacing and IF ya can believe them(?), theZed 6mk 3 will be very very good.
Dont bet on that one!...Nikon will be aiming for the U$ 2000-2300 price segment and a Stacked BSI will put it a lot higher(maybe MK 4 will be stacked).

F4-F8(F8 kicks in at 200mm)

That's exactly what they have tried to do.
ZFC is just a Z50 with top dials(a couple more bells and whistles)....When it was announced I compared it with my Fujis and it was size of an XT3 but with less capability than an XT30...then Fuji upgraded to the MK 2 XT 30( so far more capability than ZedEffCee...but still the Nikonpeople bought plenty of ZFcs.Its a show pony body(imo).
The ZF is completely different to little bro though. Its a bang for $$$ body in the price segment it occupies.High level capabilities everywhere you look and (IMO) the only body some people need if highRes is not required.Nikon scored big with a bold move in the market.Of course people will argue theres only 2 lenses that suit its style AND Fuji people will be quick to point out no APring to have a truly retro experience. ---------- Post added 03-26-24 at 05:19 PM ----------
Well, you had tried Nikon(500) and bought into Sony.I thought one ML system is a justifiable for a business. But ok, adapters work wonders and selling(d500 experiment) recoups some $$$...You bought ZF "just to comment"?...Ive seen rumoured specs of Z6mk3 and IF they are accurate, it's a hell of a camera.Probably 2200-2500(but thats a guess.)It will satisfy the Z6 users who have waited for the upgrade that had to happen eventually. It will out gun the ZF but look like a "normal" camera.

Its not a camera for everyone(has been said before,I know)...Plenty of Z mount users "dont approve" either...A niche segment that will be great for some people.
Fuji attracted mainly CaNik people to their system and many retained their lenses and adapted.Calls for a FF were dealt with by introducing GFX( crop mode).
This ZF has attracted LOTS of attention due to the FF/RETRO likeness.
I'm surprised you got one???
