Item Description
The house cleaning continues. I have not used this on FF personally, but reviews suggest that it will get you most of the way to the IQ of the D-FA 15-30 at a fraction of the cost. Ken Rockwell has a detailed review on his site. For my own use on APS-C I prefer the colors of the SMC-K 28/3.5 at 28mm and the extra FOV of the Samyang 14/2.8. This really belongs on a K-1.
The barrel shows only minor signs of previous use as pictured. The aperture ring turns easily and firmly clicks into place at each stop, and the focus ring rotates smoothly. The optics show no signs of scratches, internal haze, or fungus. There is minimal internal dust. The iris is snappy and responsive and the blades are free of oil. The "A" aperture setting works properly, and the zoom ring turns freely.
Includes the original Tokina branded front and rear caps, and the original dedicated clip-in hood. The hood shows a little brassing on the rim but functions perfectly.
