Thanks Gary.
As always, a new series of beautifully detailed pictures, especially the one with the cricket in bird's beak (hope my English is correct). You make very good use of your K3 and FA*600.

Thank you all. I had those files that I dumped onto an HDD a few years ago because I needed to free SD cards for an upcoming event and I didnt have time to buy new SD cards or process the images, I had almost forgotten about those files. Today I selected the best ones (out of thousands on the HDD) and tweaked them, it was really pleasure to see on display at full size. But not all photos are like that, a thousand various other ones aren't as good.. and some are really bad, I don't show them :o:confused: . I think that the benefit not posting immediately but posting later when we have a larger choice that allow to select the very best images.

Thanks for the clarification with regards to the Nikon lens adaption. And the Panasonic-Leica is a compelling solution especially with the weight and size considered.

Does it need an adapter? or simply compatible with K mount?

It's cold and days are shorter, but the sun is almost at it's lowest of the year giving nice lighting if the subjects happen to show-up. It's mostly luck, we have to go out and see what happens :-)

Usually it's one stage in the natural selection process, the ones who can't take off, can't take off...

Really nice, high quality and lighting. Thanks for sharing.
Great photo , colors. Especially to capture this shot with a K5IIs , one must be good at keeping the bird in the viewfinder.
