3 more FA F2.8 28MM winter pics with difficult lighting and then I won't bother people any more!
These were taken last March in fog a day after a major snowfall. All are taken and processed in color. The relentless gray was just the palette of the time and place. People from away visiting in the summer sometimes ask why we paint our houses so bright here. That's a very silly question!

Yet another winter pic with the FA F2.8 28MM (click for EXIF--GPS altitude is PITIFUL!) Whites are hard to control on developing...this is about the best I can do.

I have noticed both personally and in posted pictures here that the Pentax 28mm seems to handle outdoor winter scenes as well as any lens. As I said in a post above, personally, I tend to go to it on gloomy winter days here in Newfoundland a lot.

As it was warmer today, took a walk down by the docks. Decided to mount my SMC Pentax-FA 28mm F2.8 AL rather than a zoom as day was very gloomy with thick clouds and sun angle is still quite low this time of year. (Click pics for EXIF info) |
