Thanks, You're right 2 Q7s are a great walk around setup for street photography or events.

Took the two Q7s out to a little reptile/animal zoo. Had the 01 and 06 on each of the cameras. Doing indoor shots really pushes the camera but I can still get some cool photos with it. |

Went to a local dog show to try out my new dual body setup. Had a Q7 + 06 and a Q7 + 08. So so indoor lighting. I had to shoot in shutter priority mode as the dogs kept moving around a lot. The 06 kept up pretty good only pushing the Q7 to iso 1600, but the 08 was making the Q7 push up to iso 2500. Most of my keepers came from the 06, while the 08 is a good lens, shooting dogs and trying to get the detail of their coats at iso 1600 and above is very difficult. I also shot in jpeg as I needed the burst shot for the dogs. It really felt that I was pushing the Q7 to its limits. My planned setup would be 08+06 or 01+06. Never really like the 02 for some reason. I'm now just trying to figure out how am I gonna carry it around, I feel a dual body strap will look funny as the're made for DSLR bodies.

Nice dual body set up, I just got a second Q7 myself. Out of curiosity what lenses are you planning to use in tandem? also how are you gonna carry both when you're in shooting mode?

I am currently waiting on a second Q7 body that I bought from the forum market. I'm curious how are you lugging 2 or 3 bodies around? I've looked up dual camera straps and I haven't seen any that are designed to be more descreet and compact.
Also you mentioned you don't have the wide angle one yet, if you get a chance you should get one as it really completes the Q system. My plan is to have the 06 and 08 for both bodies and thats gonna be my setup.

Shot the local pride parade here. Had the used the 06 but had to switch to the 02 for versitality's sake.
If I can find another Q7 body I wouldn't hesitate dual wielding an 06 and an 08 for parades, that would be sweet.
Also photos were edited with Fotor, it's a windows 8 app, it's pretty good with some VSCO like filters. |

Oh yes, the ribs were great. There were 6 BBQuers present and you can't really go wrong with any one of them.
Im pretty happy with the Q7 IQ, I am considering a second body so I don't have to switch lenses anymore, just gonna wait for a good deal.

Rib festival. Brought the 02, 06, 08. Only ended up using the 02 and 08 with Q7 for these shots because I got distracted eating ribs.
First time I brought my whole kit with me, really appreciate the light weight system as I only had a drawstring bag to carry my stuff. |

Snow is finally gone!
Did a quick walk with the Q7 and 06 again. The 06 is quickly becoming my favourite lens from the line up. The more I use the Q7 the more I appreciate the compactness of the system and gotta give kudos to pentax on how they manage to make a 70-200mm constant F2.8 for the Q system. I'm probably one of the laziest photographers I know, I abandoned the DSLR game because of how it weighs so much, physically and mentally. Taking a DSLR with me gives me this mental pressure that since I have DSLR then I MUST, MUST get that perfect shot. Why the Q system is fun is that it takes that pressure away, it balances my hobby and my enjoyment of my adventures perfectly. |

Yep it was super bad a few days ago, it snowed so much that the city essentially had to shutdown. No buses, shools etc. My street had a 5 foot tall snowbank on each end, nobody could drive out of their streets.
I don't know how tough the Q7 is, I kinda wish it had weather sealing.

Great pics, are you dual wielding Q bodies? I've had that idea before as a super light weight dual body setup.

Weather has been crap this past few months, and I just got my Q7 and have been eager to take it out and get some photos. Winter really does make me lazy.

Man the reason why I got the Q7 was that the lens lineup for it is pretty much complete and I can avoid GAS. But you're making one these extension tubes. Hows the AF performance on using these? Are you able to change aperture via camera? thanks.
