I did not vote because I've only used a Canon Pro 9000. Have had it for about 18 months and I chose it over a comparable Epson (forget which one it was) because of a significant number of users reporting Epson printheads clogging and possibly higher ink costs with the Epson.
This Canon gave me stunning color prints right out of the box, much better than I had expected. If I had to purchase again, I might opt for the Canon 9500 as I understand it produces nice B&W prints as well as color. Also in fairness to Epson, I believe I have heard that the printhead clogging issue isn't nearly as prevelant as it had been.
