I agree,
AF-S is good for static scenes, what I wanted to show is an easier way of using AF-C on moving objects, which also has the advantage to easily work like AF-S for static scenes.
The key is, once you have trained yourself to AF via the back button, you avoid any unexpected AF change when releasing the shutter release.

I have a K30 and K3 and, since my son explained me this technique, I use it on both.
On K30, you can customize the AF/AE-L button to enable AF2, then it works exactly like in K3 (provided the front AF selector close to the lens mount is on AF-C).
This AF/AE-l button is just beneath the back control wheel, thus easy to reach with your right thumb.
Save for this button placement and that there is no dedicated button to switch between AF settings, the ergonomy is close to K3.
