I personally don't understand bother with the distinction... I always think of it as "all adaptalls are tamron, but not all tamrons are adaptalls" There might be others that think adaptalls should stay in adaptall threads though ;)

Lol! they make these toys to look a bit more evil to cater for the bigger kids like me  It's actually the hero of a Japanese show called "Masked Rider Agito"
Looking at these shots from january I kinda miss snow already. The sun is great but it's nicer if we got beautiful flowers popping out around town like the ones in monochrome's shot :o |

Learning this new-to-me lens. Exposure compensation is either necessary or not, depending.
Wow, thats interesting bokeh. I half regret selling my adaptall adapter now... Tamron 28-75, K100D |

Really cute Racoon shot there :D I never see them around here other than at night.
Lovely sunrise Borno =) I'm still trying to adjust my schedule to be outside at those golen hours...
Here's one from the Tammy 28-75 ;) Not a apsecial shot, just showcasing ISO 800 and the f 2.8 :D High shutter speed = no blur. Great lens and loving it. My most used lens these days is the tammy and the fa 50. |

I envy people that can tune out their surroundings no problem. I can do it sometimes with a reall good book and if I don't know anyone else around me  Hope you get the chance to visit the plant!

@Mike: Mike, how did you bounce that? Normally with ceiling bounce there would be shadows all over her face. DId you bounce from the floor instead? Nice capture and very personal candid =)
@Piotr: Great shots! For some reason I feel like I've seen that sheep photo somewhere else, ppg?

Thanks gus! I find little use for spot metering most of the time, but maybe I just haven't tried it out enough =) It's hard to change something that's buried in the menu too
I have a question to other owners of the 28-75. Does anyone else's copy "triple checks" the focus? My copy sometimes uses one extra step to focus compared to my other pentax lenses (18-55, 50-200, 10-17), especially when moving focus from a farther distance. When the change of distance to object is small it seems to be fine (possibly even faster than the three other lens). Can this be because of the extremely short focus throw or do I get a slightly bad copy? Sharpness and back/front focusing is mighty fine though so I'll probably try to live with it.
Or maybe there's some tips on focusing that I don't know yet? I tried focusing on people's eyes in low light today and it seems to triple check many times.
PS. And another comlaint is that I can't eem to clean this lens easily with a lenspen.... The cloth works well though.
*Edit* I take back my words... i don't know what I did wrong yesterday but today my lenspen works its magic again

Just got my Tammy 28-75 today...so far impressions are good =)
Did a sorta-architecture model shot (not my model) Even at 400 ISO it's still mindboggling sharp. Can't believe this is not a prime
Did what I bought this lens for, low light shots. ISO 1600. Performed admirably although it does not create the magic that makes photography (light). For some reason I expected a 2.8 aperture lens to replace a flashgun  time for the K20d? :b
And some horror shots  |
